What we collect, and where it goes.

This is the whole of it: every field either form asks for, what it is used for, who else ends up holding it, how long it stays, and how to have it removed. No defined terms, no cross-references, and nothing you have to be a lawyer to read.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or hand it to advertisers. That is worth saying plainly, and it is also the easy part. The rest of this page is the harder and more useful answer: the places your details genuinely do go, because a service cannot deliver a washing machine to an address it does not hold.

The short version

  • Two forms collect anything at all: the waitlist and the rental application
  • What they collect is used to answer you and to do the job, and for nothing else
  • Your details are held by Fulton Capital LLC and by the company operating the rental platform this site runs on
  • Payment details are handled by Stripe and never reach this site
  • There are no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party scripts on any page
  • Write to [email protected] and we will delete what we hold about you

The waitlist form

It asks for an email address, and optionally a ZIP code, what brings you to the site, and how you heard about us. Only the email address is required.

What it is for
Sending you one message when Loon starts taking customers. The ZIP code tells us which part of the area to open in, and the other two answers tell us who is interested and how they found us. Nothing else.
Where it is stored
In the key-value store behind this site, which is part of the rental platform described below. It is not exported anywhere, and it does not create an account.
What we never do with it
Sell it, share it, add it to a newsletter, or send you anything other than the one message. There is no second list you get moved on to.

The rental application

The form asks for a delivery address, whether your dryer hookup is gas or electric, whether you rent or own, your name, a phone number and an email address. Optionally it asks for a landlord or building contact, anything the delivery crew should know about getting in the door, and how you heard about us.

What it is for
Deciding whether we can serve the address and the hookup type, replying to you either way, and, if the answer is yes, scheduling a delivery and setting up billing. Every field on the form is there because one of those steps needs it.
Where it is stored
Your name, phone number, email address and address go into the customer record the operator works from. The full submission, including the landlord contact and the access notes, goes into the key-value store beside it, because those two fields have nowhere else to live and are what somebody reads before loading a truck.
What happens on a duplicate
A second application from the same email address attaches to the record that already exists rather than creating a second one.

Who else holds it

This is the part most privacy pages bury, and it is the part actually worth reading.

The rental platform
This site is not a one-off. It runs on a shared rental platform used by more than one operator, so your details are held both by Fulton Capital LLC and by whichever company operates that platform, which may or may not be the same one. You are dealing with Loon Appliance Rental and that is who is answerable to you, but it would be untrue to tell you the data sits inside a single company by construction.
Hosting
The site, its database and its key-value store run on a commercial hosting provider. Everything above is physically stored there.
Stripe
Billing runs through Stripe. Your name and email address are sent to Stripe so it can create the billing record and take the monthly payment. Card and bank details are entered on Stripe's own pages and never touch this site, which is deliberate: there is no code path here that could receive a card number.
Email
Messages we send you are handed to an email delivery service, which necessarily sees the address they are going to and what they say.
Nobody else
No advertisers, no data brokers, no list rental, no lead resale. If a law or a court order ever required a disclosure, that would be the only other case, and it has never happened.

How long we keep it

Honestly: we have not set a retention period, and there is nothing in the system that deletes anything on a timer. In practice that means a waitlist entry or an application stays until somebody removes it by hand. We would rather tell you that than print a number nothing enforces.

Two things follow from it that are worth being direct about. Records tied to a rental have to be kept for as long as the rental runs, and for a while after it ends, because they are the accounting and tax record of money that changed hands. A waitlist entry has no such reason to survive, and if you ask for it to go, it goes.

How to have it deleted

Write to [email protected] and say what you want removed. There is no self-serve delete button on this site, and rather than describe one that does not exist, here is what actually happens: a person reads your message and removes the records. You do not have to give a reason, and asking costs you nothing.

You can also ask what we hold about you and we will tell you. If a rental is running, the account area shows your own rental, payments and service requests already.

Tracking, cookies and scripts

What is not here

  • No analytics of any kind
  • No advertising or conversion pixels
  • No third-party scripts, fonts or images
  • No cross-site tracking, and nothing to opt out of
  • No cookie banner, because the pages that would need one do not set cookies

What is here

  • One cookie, set only when you sign in to the account area, which is what keeps you signed in
  • Ordinary server logs kept by the hosting provider
  • A hidden field on both forms that only automated submissions fill in, which is how spam is caught without a puzzle to solve

The marketing pages load one stylesheet and nothing else. That is a deliberate choice and it is why there is no consent banner in your way.

Children

This is a service for households renting appliances, and it is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, write to us and it will be removed.

If this page changes

It gets rewritten here, in the same plain form, rather than quietly amended. If a change makes a real difference to what is collected or who holds it, anyone on the waitlist or renting from us gets told by email rather than left to notice.
